Dear entrepreneurs, I wish you to keep your feet on the ground, not to be afraid to count costs, estimate budgets modestly and realistically and that the investor was not the biggest success in the history of your company

OI wish you a lavish year not only in ideas, outreach and funding in subsequent rounds, but above all rich in customers and sales results. I wish that in 2018, as many of the start-ups as possible would cease to be just startups. Not because it will collapse but simply because it will become a viable business. And of course, even those who turn into ordinary companies have not stopped dreaming about being a unique player.

On behalf of the entire editorial staff of INN:Poland, we wish the young entrepreneurs courage in thinking that yet at the conceptual stage they go beyond the borders of Poland. As well as perseverance in learning and contacts with mentors. There are many traps for starting a business, no one said it would be easy, but who else would be able to deal with them if not you?

Perseverance and faith in one’s own ideas, an open mind that will help you to look at problems as challenges. An ambition that will help to reach beyond the borders of our country and take the game on a global scale. Investors who will see your ideas as more than profits. Business partners who will be supportive in difficult times. And remember, unicorns aren’t just mythical animals.

Openness, criticism, perseverance, courage and resilience. Professional satisfaction, fulfillment and a sense of such a flowing from the very the bottom of your heart that what you’re doing is important. But above all, love and to be surrounded by only good people. If only these last two wishes are fulfilled, everything else will work out 😉 😉

In the hall of Warsaw The Brain Embassy hangs the slogan: ‘These walls need lots of curiosity, fresh ideas and unexpected connection’. I would like it not to be limited to the walls of that building, but the borders of our country. That’s what I want for you, as I wish for myself. You are the hope of building a strong and modern economy.

Fast requests, fruitful brainstorms, long deadlines, no fuckups and no ASAPs, but easy milestones, smooth workflow, and lots of customers. Your successes are my topics. So I would like to write about global contracts, breakthrough products, life-changing innovation, modern research and excellent cooperation with investors. 2017 did not disappoint, but I hope that the following months will show that the Polish startup valley is more than a catchy slogan.

At the last InfoShare Hampus Jacobsson, a Swedish programmer and business angel, who invested in 50 companies, compared negotiations between startups and investors like telling dreams. When one side sees everything clearly, the other it may not make sense. In the new year, I wish you that your vision of business is always clear to investors. To be leaders in the first place, and then craftsmen. And that your products or services are based on actual market demand, and that they are scaled fantastically.
